Teal. Teal. Teal. The answer is almost always teal. Except when it’s yellow. Or some greens.

Yes yes and yes.  What does that say on the hood of the teal car?  Almost looks like the magic word...

Looks like 440 but I could be wrong, my enhance isn't working for some reason.

Good stuff! I really dig the Charger but that RR is really nice too.

Tried to enhance, was not clear enough to me, so could be Hemi or 440. I also see a 1967 Dart and 1968 Impala on the other side of that fence, near vintage Airstream.

440 would mean 6 pack, in theory. Which is also awesome. But I think the six pack cars had different hood scoops.

I couldn’t enhance much on my potato, but it almost looked like 4 letters to me.

Guessing the top hood is from a GTX .  The 440-4 barrel wasn’t offered in the 1st gen Roadrunner.

1969 Road Runner, Super Bee and Charger offered both 4bbl and 6bbl 440 engines. The 440 6bbl engine was introduced mid year. The 6bbl engine was in addition to engine choices, not a replacement for the 4bbl 440.

It’s a 69 so if it’s a dual snorkel....which it kinda look like...it will say 383.

In the Charger R/T and GTX, the 440/4 was standard.

The RR and SB were different and a little odd- you either got the 383 or 426 until the 440/6 came along. No 440/4 - the Hemmings article actually says that.

I stand corrected. The 440 4bbl from 1968 did not carry over to the 1969 Road Runner. The 383 and Hemi were the only engines until the mid year 440 6bbl appeared. My old memories had the 440 4bbl as a carry over, obviously this is incorrect.

Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for enlightening me.
